Colored pencils are drawing tools. They look like ordinary pencils, but their leads are colourful.
They can draw thin and clear lines. Many artists and students like them. Compared with crayons, colored pencils can show more fine details in pictures.
There are two kinds of colored pencils: water‑soluble colored pencils and oil‑based colored pencils. Water‑soluble ones can mix with water to make watercolour effects. You can draw on paper for art homework or hand‑drawing.
